Ultrasound diagnosis of preeclampsia during pregnancy

Abstract

This article contains information on the role of diagnosis of preeclampsia (PE), which is one of the most essential problems in modern obstetrics, within its medical and socio-economic importance. Preeclampsia is often called «the disease of hypothesis»
and the mystery of medicine. The frequency of preeclampsia has no tendency to decrease, and it still takes the leading position in the structure of maternal mortality and morbidity worldwide. The necessity of timely and coordinated measures to reduce the morbidity and mortality from preeclampsia is emphasized.
