Abstract

This study is devoted to the study of the reproductive health of women infected with the human papillomavirus (HPV). The frequency of occurrence of benign diseases of the cervix among these women is shown, and risk factors are analyzed. A comprehensive clinical and laboratory study involved 130 women who had the following nosological forms of benign diseases of the cervix: nonspecific vaginitis - in 6.2% of cases; ectopia, endocervicitis - 17.7%; ectropion - 5.4%; cervical polyp - 6.9%; leukoplakia - 11.5%; atrophic vaginitis - 5.4%; warts - 9.2%; erosion of the cervix - 28.5%; cervical stenosis - 1.5%; endometriosis of the cervix respectively in 7.7% of cases. The characteristic of the menstrual cycle in women with benign diseases of the cervix is given.
The frequency of surgical interventions in this contingent of women was analyzed. Type-specific HPV DNA identification sequence and frequency of HPV in women of different ages are shown. As a result of the study, CIN I was registered in 90.9% of women of the reproductive group with HPV "low" oncogenic risk, in 57.1% of menopausal women and in 40% of premenopausal women. CIN II was detected in 16.7% of women of reproductive age at "high" risk of HPV, in 13.3% of premenopausal women and in 40% of menopausal women.
