The effects of oligohydramnios on the course of pregnancy and labor, the effectiveness of modern methods for its correction
Abstract
Objective: To study the characteristics of the course of pregnancy and childbirth in condition of oligohydramnios, as well as to evaluate the effect-tiveness of modern complex pathogenetic therapy. Clinical material and research methods: 75 women with oligohydramnios were examined. The frequency of obstetric and extragenital pathology, the state of the placental system, echographic criteria of oligohydramnois, dopplerographic indicators of uteroplacental blood flow were studied. The indicators of hormones and placental proteins during pregnancy were determined, the effectiveness of the complex pathogenetic therapy of oligohydramnios and its influence on the perinatal mortality rates was evaluated. Results of the study: It was established that the presence of complications during the first trimester of pregnancy against the background of a compli-cated obstetric and gynecological history contribute to the development of placental insufficiency and fetal intrauterine infection.
