This article provides an overview of current literature data on the immunopathogenesis of HBV, HCV infections. Increasing the frequency of HBV, HCV infections, and virus carrying in particular, created the need to develop new WHO projects on viral hepatitis. In the article the latest achievements in the fi eld of molecular virology and immunology concerning parenteral hepatitis are discussed. The leading role in the pathogenesis of diseases of the relationship between the molecular genetic structure of HBV, HCV and the immune, interferon, HLA systems of the body is noted. The study of the immunopathogenesis of HBV, HCV infections will help clinicians in the diff erentiation of clinical forms of these diseases, and in the future - the creation of conditions for the selection of optimal methods of treatment, the creation of vaccines for the prevention of HCV infection.
