Objective: to study the features of echographic indicators of the uterus and i ovaries in patients with endometrial, ovarian and cervical cancer.
Material and methods of research. 35 patients with cancer of the reproductive organs were examined. Of these, 20 (57.1%) patients were diagnosed with endometrial cancer, 7 (20%) with ovarian cancer, and 8 (22.9%) patients with cervical cancer. Clinical, functional, hormonal, biochemical, radiological, morphological methods of examination were conducted.
The results of the study. As a result of the study, it was found out that in patients with endometrial cancer in the postmenopausal period, the ultrasound indicators of the cervix decrease, in comparison with women with an uncomplicated postmenopausal period, as well as a pathological increase in the thickness of endometrium. There was noted a statistically significant increase in the echographic indices of the ovaries in ovarian cancer and increase in endometrial thickness in cervical cancer.
In cervical cancer, the echographic indicators of the uterus and ovaries were similar to those of the uncomplicated course of the postmenopausal period, with an increase in the thickness of the endometrium and the presence of a non-homogeneous consistency with uneven contours of the vagina.
