Abstract

Immune thrombocytopenia is an isolated dec-rease in the number of platelets in the peripheral blood, an acquired autoimmune disease characte-rized by an increase or normalization of mega-karyocytes in the bone marrow, a shortening of the life of platelets in patients without clinical manifes-tations or factors. The onset and progression of pregnancy against the background of clinical hema-tological remission in immune thromocytopenia does not worsen the course of the disease and does not affect the prognosis and method of delivery. Exacerbation of ITP can adversely affect pregnancy and fetal viability in the form of obstetric compli-cations, which are approximately 2-3 times higher than complications in the general population.
