Endometriosis as one of the causes of infertility

Abstract

As it is known, ultrasound examination is an affordable, inexpensive, painless, non-invasive, safe method of examination that should be chosen as a first step for the examination of women suffering from infertility.
MRI can be used as a referral method for surgeons to assess the relationship with surrounding tissues in patients undergoing surgery, where the possibilities are wider and differential diagnosis is required.
The course of endometriosis in women leads to psychological disorders, decreased sexual health and quality of life and social maladaptation. Research in psychology and neurobiology requires a multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis. Despite the various methods available in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility-associated endometriosis, there is currently no single algorithm for the management of this group of patients. Determining the tactics of the examination is an important component of the effectiveness of treatment. A management plan for patients with endometriosis-related infertility should take into account a woman's age, duration of infertility, pain and stage of the disease (in late cases) requires the study of the disease as a socially significant problem.
