Abstract

Nowadays, the problem of vitamin D deficiency has a special importance. According to the data received from numerous studies, almost half of the world population suffer from vitamin D defficiency. This article presents the results of research of the vitamin D influence on pregnancy and perinatal outcomes, which had been reviewed and summarized in meta-analyses of PubMed and Scopus databases. The data on the determination and use of optimal doses of vitamin D for prevention and treatment in pregnant women according to different recommendations are described.
