Abstract

The prevalence of hypertension among women of reproductive age is estimated at 7.7%. Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (a unifying term including pre-existing and gestational hypertension, preeclampsia and eclampsia) complicate up to 10% of
pregnancies and represent a significant cause of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. An important factor influencing the clinical manifestations of CAH is an elevated blood cholesterol level. Objective of the study to identify the features of lipid metabolism in pregnant women with chronic arterial hypertension.
